Does Firefly Have a Prayer?

You know the drill.

The series was screwed over by FOX.
The film flopped.
The DVD sales were redeemable but apparently not redeemable enough.
No sequel slated.
No Second Chance at TV.
No Books.
No Games (other than a pretty cool looking pen and paper RPG: www.serenityrpg.com)

Whedon and cast appear to have moved on.

So bottom line, no wishful thinking, hoping or dreaming, does anyone really think Firefly will ever been seen again, or at least anytime soon?

A poll is inevitable.
I am not optomistic.
Now that I've watched the entire series at least six times and the film twice as much I'm starting to get over it and, unfortunately, care less.

Not good, but I still think the series has more chance than a movie.

Nowadays given shows like BG, to be frank anything could happen.

I somehow doubt it'll be given a second (third?) chance. It would be great ... too great ... I'd say if we don't hear any news within a few months it would be safe to assume it's all over.

(Untill 20 years down the line when some bright spark decides to reinvent it with a flashy new cast )

Wow, we've moved, things really are changing, yay
