Cool Hmmm.

I liked spiderman. It was entertaining. Mostly I feel this because I thought it was going to more worse. () I'd say this movie is one of the best... superhero movies, well exept for the first 2 Batmans. X-men was sh*t compared to this. Very entertaining, but I wouldn't go as far as saying a great movie.

I didn't see this on the big screen, which I regret, I rented the DVD. It was excellent. And all geared up to continue-Yes?

Re: Hmmm.

It was entertaining, but I still like the first two Batman movies, the first two Superman movies, and X-Men better.

Re: Hmmm.

Now we have some X-Men fanatics here, I am one of them, but this was (and I am going out on a limb here) the best super hero movie I have seen and I have seen all Batmans, X-Men and all Super Man movies.

Re: Hmmm.

Way better than Superman. As good an actor as Gene Hackman is, he was wrong for Lex Luthor, and Luthor was written horribly.

Spider-Man was true to the core of the characters, some things just don't translate well to screen. If Osborn had lived, people would be complaining that it was a cop-out, and was done just to have him available for sequels. The best thing they did with "Spider-Man" was follow the first "Batman"s lead and have good actors portray the roles, rather than find the person that looked just like the comic characters.

As good as this movie was though, it was only the second best comic-book movie this year. "Blade II" was the best.

Thumbs up Re: Hmmm.

I just watched it again tonight. I'd say it officially takes first place on my list of favorite superhero films.

And, of course, Ballet Spidey is quite a thing to see, too.

Re: Hmmm.

Yep.

I would say this up to this point has been the best superhero movie and my favorite superhero movie aside from Predator of course(j/k)

But yes the best and my favorite. I really liked it!

Hmmm..bit of a ripoff
I'm afraid Independence Day was a blatant rip off of the basic structure of H G Wells "War of the Worlds". This is a fun movie, but riddled with...
