OK! The second half of this story is not subtle. But the special effects are amazing and the performances of Kevin Bacon and Elisabeth Shue are pretty good.
The music by Jerry Goldsmith gives the right fantasy atmosphere for the movie. Don't miss the DVD and the numerous bonuses among them an only music version commented by Jerry Goldsmith himself. Very interesting! |

I agree. Great music and a good thriller overall. You just have to be forgiving enough to overlook the cliche Hollywood ending. The rest of the movie works quite well. Kevin Bacon is awesome. And I still laugh at that Superman joke every time.
