The case for Blade
Aaaaaand I just got severly distracted by an X3 trailer on tele, anywhooo...
_____________________ Why is Blade (trilogy) SF? 1.) Futuristic technology, i.e.: light bombs, ability to peserve life beyond todays means (Whistler in the tube) etc 2.) Clones & genetic breeding schemes. There was an entire farm (laboratory) of embryos in Blade 2 3.) The biggie: the Vampirism is Biological not mystical. It can be seen on a cellular level (see Blade 1 telescope examining blood), Blade himself contracted it virally through the amniotic fluid, the thirst can be treated with serums (symptoms eased by chemicals) - most importantly, it can be reversed through biological scientific means. 4.) Since just about all superhero flicks have some element of science fiction in them, it would be kind of cool to have a Superhero Flicks forum somwhere between Offworld and Upcoming Movies.
