Robocop is bad and all but i dont think any type of cyborge/robot could beat the Terminator. But i think Robo would give the Terminator a pretty hard time though.

wouldnt mind seeing a Robocop vs Terminator movie...

It would be like brick against brick. They would wack each other pretty badly. But still I think that terminator would win because of slightly higher inteligence.

RoboCop is also crippled by his police programming...he's going to be trying to minimize collateral damage and protect innocent bystanders, whearas Terminator doesn't care.

They thought that it was a trap. Would't you? c'mon, its just too easy! Imagine... as you shoot him in the 'face' a stram of acid gushes out of the 'eyes' and terribly disfigures you... BWUHAHAHAHAHA!

Terminator. For all the reasons mentioned above. I like RoboCop, but he's to slow.

How about RoboCop versus Predator?

Or RoboCop versus Alien?

He may have a chance there.......I getting a bit carried away with this........

Re: Terminator Vs. RoboCop

It depends on the weapons the Terminator uses. If it's a future lazer gun then it's obvious he will win. However, if he uses the shot gun and machine guns as seen in both films then Robo will beat him. Excellent (fictional) armour, and pretty heavy, slow but he has a good strength (more than the Terminator). I don't see how the Terminator will beat Robo really unless it uses it's lazer weapons. Keep in mind, the Terminator is programmed to defeat human targets who aren't exactly well armoured. Robo is a tank. Actually, compared to today's tanks, he's more than a tank. The only thing that can beat him is the mini, which the Terminator had in TII, so maybe the Terminator does stand a chance.

PS. I doubt shooting Robo in the head a few times will actually stop him. I mean just look at the damage he taken from his car(s) exploding due to rockets being fired at it. I don't recall a scratch. Also, he is renowned for being a "hard nut" to crack - inside and out - y'know.

Just because Terminator is pretty good, it doesn't mean it will defeat every other fictional machines.

Re: Terminator Vs. RoboCop

Those are very good points. But don't forget that the Terminator has better maneuverability than Robo, and is quicker as SF said. He could run circles around him and, attacking with his less high-tech weapons, have a pretty good chance of defeating him. It's harder to hit a fast-moving target than a slow-moving one. So Robo would have a hard time responding. And slowly, his diagnostics would shut down, the light in his eyes would dim for the last time, and the final words he hears will be "Hasta la vista ... baby!"

Or maybe not .

A Terminator can easily be programmed for anti-armor tactics. I am sure that the adaptive abalities, quick reflexes, speed and agaility of the can take out anyday

Re: Terminator Vs. RoboCop

lol, Robo can just as easily be reprogrammed to just fire and ask questions later. No directives means a reduced time to fire. Also, Terminator isn't exactly fast... it doesn't really duck and weave. Compared to Robo, it's significantly faster, but it's basically like a human target: pretty 'slow'. Though Robo is slower, he can still take out humans y'know.

PS. You've seen how Terminators are "armoured" (don't know if I would call a basic skeleton structure "armoured") Robo, will take more pounding then the Terminator with it's shotgun can deal.
