WOW, looks like it might surpass the original and could be Bay's masterpiece besides "The Rock".

Nope, "The Rock" will always be his best film by a mile. Always and forever.

Well OK, so "The Rock" is his best movie! what about "Armageddon", "The Island" or "Transformers"?

I'm sorry, but none of his movies can be considered a 'masterpiece.'

you don't need to be sorry Op, he should be sorry (Bay) for making such terrible movies, that he and Uwe boll still gain employment is nothing short of a miracle.

And DarthJohn, please go out and watch more films, maybe something by Sergio Leone or the Coens, I don't care, just watch movies till you realise how bad bay is, Do this for me, but also for yourself, you poor poor sheltered movie goer.

Never said the rock was a masterpiece, just his best film, simple as that. The film's made what it is by Sean Connery anyway.

Since when was your name DarthJohn? I made it clear I was talking to Dj, who did call the rock a masterpiece.

and this thread isn't even about bay's other movies, so back on topic, while it obviously looks better than the first, (With more transformers i'll be waiting for a rental to see what abuse he has brought on transformers this time.

I tend to agree with Bob, however, just because it looks better, (and we can only pray it has the better than original like Aliens and Terminator 2 theme) it's still Bay, and I still hate that man.

I like Bay except for "Pearl Harbor", i think he makes fun movies and so does Roland Emmerich of "Godzilla", "Independence Day", "Stargate", "The Patriot" and "Day After Tommorow" fame. What's wrong with a little action?

Re: Transformers 2 Full Trailer

There's nothing wrong with action, particularly when you keep the subject on topic. So enough with Emmerich. You want to talk about him, we can go to the Stargate or Independance Day forum.

So yet again, back to topic. First of all, the designs of the Transformers for the movie are awful, which again puts off many Transformers fans and helps further the case that Bay is more interested in putting his mark on the franchise than giving the fans what they want.

As for action, the first film was mediocre when it came to action, centering far too much around the pitiful fleshbag humans than around the movie's premise. THE TRANSFORMERS! The cinematography was awful, panning here and there, choppy and shakey, and for example, rather than centering on Prime's and Megatron's epic fight, we get stuck watching Sam scurry around like a robo-rat in the rubble. Bay should take lessons from Spielberg, rather than let him sit in the producers chair and do nothing.

Well Bay didn't want the TFs to look all cartoony and silly but more realistic, kind of like how Nolan did with his Batman movies.

Re: Transformers 2 Full Trailer

That's the biggest crock of slag I've ever heard, DJ. Because if Hasbro can make a video like this, and have Prime and Megatron look exactly like their original toys (P-38 Walther and 1972 Freightliner COE respectively) I can only imagine how Industrial Light and Magic could have made them look. Stop defending Bay, because you look foolish. Bay didn't even want to direct the films, until he was given unilateral control of how the Bayformers looked.
