Don't change the name of the movie!!!!! Arac Attack is a great name....Eight-legged freaks is really stupid and nobody will go see it!!! Who cares if it sounds like Iraq!!! Its not its ARAC!!! Don't try to be so politically correct......

Political correctness and prudent diplomacy are two very different things, and now that the US government has ceased practice of the latter, someone must pick up the ball. Why not Hollywood?

(5/28/00) It's confirmed; the title has been changed from Arach Attack to Eight Legged Freaks.

If you see the trailer, you can understand why it was called Eight-Legged Freaks. It makes perfect sense, I mean, I can understand how Arach Attack can be mistaken for Iraq Attack. We don't need any complaining from them.

Well, I quite like the title now - I thought it was really cheesy at first, but after seeing the trailer, it DOES grow on you ... like the title of a certain blockbuster prequel that came out recently

I first saw the name with a realy crappy trailer that made it look like the director was in first grade. Today I saw a better tv spot that made it look like a semi-good action flick.
