wont ever bother to watch the second, but the first is a classic.

Did anyone see the research that analized time travel movies? They found Bill and Ted to be the most scientificaly accurate of all the time travel movies!

It'd be good to grab a copy of this research as there sure are a lot of movies playing around with time travel. Listening to the fine pickings wouldn't be the same as having the chance to read it.

On discovery of this thread I suddenly feel the need to go and watch these films again. Along with Wayne's World, these films were my introduction to heavy rock culture. And for that I will always be grateful

As for the animated series. I think this about sums it up

On opening the phone booth door to find it plummeting off a cliff towards the solid ground
Bill: Ted, What are we gonna do?
Ted: Bill, I have a most excellent plan. Wait till we are 3 feet from the ground, and then jump!

You don't get that kind of writing in children's cartoons these days

And Defenders of the Earth. I always loved that one and my friend's brother has just got it on DVd. Must get him to make a copy of it for me. 'Tis unlikely we'll see Bill and Ted animated series anytime soon though.
