Yes Wendy, this movie does rule. Some seem to really hate it, I don't know what they were expecting from it, but I liked it.

I think this was a good movie except for the ending. It was forced and you knew that the good guys would survive and the bad guy would die. What I think would have been a cool twist would be if Kevin Bacon actually did succeed in killing the two scientists and then "disappeared". Then it would have been like a depressing, but cool, episode of The Outer Limits.

It wasn't that it was a bad movie, just the wrong actors (in my opinion).

the entire movie was just weird. Can we at least agree on that part?? the reason I thin that people disliked it, and I for one, disliked it was not because it was weird, but b/c it did not start out weird, so the viewers werent quite prepared for the evil twist. At least I wasnt. I mean it startes out feelgoody, then became twisted and dark. had I known, I probably wouldnt have expected as much, and wouldnt have felt let down.

there you have it.
