What does the key symbol mean?

Soooo, what does the little key /keylock symbol mean next to a thread title? I just can't seem to figure that one out.....

The keylock means that either the thread starter or a moderator has locked the thread . You can't post messages in a locked thread.

This happens when a moderator feels that the original question or debate has been answered of finished. The same goes for the thread starter.

No, no not the padlock fellas, the key/ keyhole symbol! (sorry, didn't mean to confuse you with keylock).
